Seasonal Employment Opportunities

At Wakeda, we’re always on the lookout for great people to join our team. If you’re friendly, dependable, not afraid of a little hard work, and enjoy being surrounded by happy campers on vacation, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

We’re a seasonal campground (May 15 – October 1), and while we do our best to work around school schedules for students and teachers, most roles include a mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts—because camping fun doesn’t stick to a 9–5.

We kindly ask that you do not call or stop by the office regarding employment inquiries.

Cabin Cleaning & Turnover Specialist

A small brown cabin with a green door and window, marked with the sign 'K12', situated in a forested area, with a red picnic table nearby. In the background are more similar cabins and trees.

This is not your typical cleaning job—our rustic cabins must be spotless for every guest, and we’re looking for someone who notices the small details and works independently to maintain high standards.

Outdoor Site Cleaning & Grounds Crew Member

We are seeking a reliable team member to keep campsites clean and guest ready.

This is a fully outdoor role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a natural setting.

This role involves repetitive tasks and is best suited for someone who enjoys routine, independent work, and takes pride in consistently delivering high-quality work.

Maintenance & Ground Crew Member

(Skilled/General)

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to help keep our 180+ acre property running smoothly and looking its best.

This is a primarily outdoor role focused on maintenance, repairs, and keeping the campground in top shape—because first impressions matter (and so do second and third ones).

Overnight Campground Host

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, prefers late-night hours, and can handle a variety of situations with professionalism and good judgment. You’ll play an important role in keeping our campground safe, quiet, and running smoothly overnight.
