Campground Policies

  • Check-in time for all sites: 3 PM*

    *If the site you reserved is open earlier in the day, you may check in as soon as it is vacant. Feel free to call us early on your arrival day (603-772-5274), for the status of your site.
    If you are towing a trailer and your site is not open earlier in the day, you may leave your RV in our storage field (no charge) and check-in later.

  • Site check-out time: 2 PM or 1 PM if we are moving your trailer off the site. Cabin check-out time: 11 AM. Please check-out in the office on final day.

  • Please register in the office upon arrival. A code for our security gate will be provided upon registration, along with a registration sticker for your vehicle. Do not share your code with anyone. All vehicles must have a registration sticker, which must be visible at all times while on the property.

  • Any guests, daytime or overnight, must stop and register in the office and will be given their own code for the security gate. You are responsible for the behavior of your guest(s). Please be sure they are aware of all campground policies.

  • Daytime guests must leave by 10 PM.

  • If ordering food to be delivered to the campground, please meet the driver at the front office. Do not give your security gate code to any delivery drivers.

  • Quiet Time: 10 PM to 8 AM.

     


Office Policies

Site Policies

  • No metal stakes of any sort in the ground (this includes tent stakes, shepherd’s hooks, flag poles, dog tie-down/tether stakes, etc.). Plastic stakes are acceptable.

  • There is a limit of one camping unit per site. (i.e. 1 tent or 1 trailer), no tents on cabin or pull thru sites.

  • No more than 1 car on cabin sites; 2 cars max on all other sites. Extra vehicles may be parked in overflow parking.

  • Our electrical system is not designed to support the charging of electric vehicles on the property. In order to avoid potential damage to your vehicle, or our utilities, please make arrangements to utilize one of the many public charging stations located close by.

  • NH State law prohibits out-of-state firewood.

  • Fires must be completely contained in the fireplace and less than 2 feet high.

  • Campfires must be out by midnight.

  • Site rates are based on 2 adults and up to 3 children under 18.

  • No more than 4 adults on an electric site. No more than 3 adults on a tent site (extra charge).

  • Please don’t rake up pine needles - they prevent erosion.

  • With the exception of families, all site occupants must be 18 years or older; 21 years of age for cabins.

  • Power Flush Systems are prohibited due to the risk of contamination to our water system.

Campground Policies

  • For nighttime emergencies, call the office (603-772-5274) for instructions. In the case of medical emergencies please call 911.

  • Drive SLOWLY - 5mph speed limit.

  • No firearms, fireworks, or sparklers allowed in the campground.

  • Do not cut, mar, or tie things to trees.

  • Children must be supervised by an adult when off the campsite. No small children in bathrooms or game area without an adult.

  • This is a family campground, please use appropriate language at all times.

  • Must be 21 to drink alcohol, alcohol to be consumed on site only.

  • Only licensed drivers are allowed to operate any motorized vehicles on the property, this includes golf carts, scooters, etc.

  • No golf carts allowed unless medically necessary and with advanced approval from the campground office.

  • For the privacy and safety of our guests, no drones are allowed on the property.

  • Our water supply does not allow for the washing of vehicles.

  • Please do not wash dishes at water taps or in restroom sinks.

  • No dumping of gray water anywhere but at the dump station.

  • We provide free WiFi hotspots throughout the campground, which supply coverage for nearly our entire property. Some of the most remote sites do not have the strongest signal, so campers requiring greater access can always visit our Trading Post and playground areas to take advantage of the robust service available at those locations. Due to the rural nature of our property, outages do happen, so we cannot guarantee continuous or uninterrupted Internet service. For those guests requiring constant Internet access, we recommend a personal hot spot, which is available for sale by most mobile service providers, as a back-up.

  • Sorry, no refunds - we do not charge extra for sunshine and we don’t refund for rain!

  • We cannot be responsible for loss or theft, therefore, please secure your valuables.

  • Be mindful of changing weather conditions and take proper precautions when extreme conditions exist.

  • By camping at Wakeda Campground, I acknowledge and agree that camping and associated activities have many hazards and that there are risks that cannot be eliminated, particularly in a rustic outdoor environment. I assume all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping on the Premises including, without limitation, the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities on the Premises, or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions. I agree to assume all risks and hereby acknowledge that Wakeda Campground is not responsible for any theft, loss or damage incurred during my stay. I hereby knowingly and intentionally release, discharge, covenant not to sue, indemnify and hold harmless Wakeda Campground and all of its members, managers, officers, agents and employees from and against any and all liability, claims, actions, damages, costs or expense, of any kind including but not limited to injuries (and death) caused by, but not limited to, camping and/or activities at Wakeda Campground. The campground is not responsible for any accidents or injuries resulting in or around the campground.
